For Teachers

During the past 4 or 5 years I have had the opportunity to present workshops at the local, state and national levels. I have included the text of the hand outs for two of these: Cooperative Learning & Engine Starters. I hope you will find some information that you will find helpful. If you are interested in learning more about "Multiple Intelligences", you may want to check out the sites I have located that address this area of research. While working as a K-12 counselor I put together a handout for teachers about working with students that have Attention Deficit Disorders. We all have had the special students in our class that need special attention. I hope this information will help you. Below I have also listed some web sites I use from time to time. I have found them to be a very valuable resource to me as an educator. I will add new sites to this page when I run across new sites that are of use to me as a educator. Please let me know if you find a site that would be good to add to this page.

THERE IS A LOT OF GOOD MATERIAL AND A LOT OF BAD MATERIAL ON THE INTERNET. I CAN NOT MAKE SURE THAT EVERYTHING IN ALL OF THESE LINKS ARE APPROPRIATE. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU RUN ACROSS MATERIAL THAT SHOULD NOT BE LISTED ON MY WEB PAGE.
